Having lived in Brooklyn for many years I often found myself composing “living” still lifes with some wild and crazy shirts I found in second hand shops! This is one of a series that continue to inspire me no matter where I am. Did this on Midwood st in Brooklyn (1979) and retouched some scrapes in 2018. Love how the shirts are so gestural.
